Delete Your PrankAI Account

We respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of your PrankAI account and what happens to your data when you do.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete from the App

  1. Open the PrankAI app on your device
  2. Go to the Profile tab
  3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
  4. Enter your password (or email for social logins) to confirm
  5. Tap "Delete" to permanently remove your account

Option 2: Request via Email

If you cannot access the app, send an email to:

support@prankaiapp.com

Include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 business days.

Data That Will Be Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

  • ✕Your account information (email, name)
  • ✕All pranks you have created
  • ✕Your usage history and preferences
  • ✕Any uploaded photos stored on our servers
  • ✕Credit balance and purchase history details

Data That May Be Retained

Some data may be retained for legal, security, or business purposes:

    Transaction records

    Purchase receipts retained for 7 years for tax/legal compliance

  • ⏱
    Anonymized analytics

    Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained

  • ⏱
    Support correspondence

    Email communications retained for 90 days after account deletion

Deletion Timeline

  • Immediate:Your account is deactivated and you are signed out
  • Within 24 hours:Personal data removal begins
  • Within 30 days:All deletable data is permanently removed from active systems
  • Within 90 days:Data is purged from backup systems

Important Information

  • • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • • Any unused credits or active subscriptions will be forfeited
  • • If you have an active subscription, please cancel it first through your app store
  • • Pranks you've shared externally (saved to camera roll, sent to friends) are not affected
